deconstructing the lunch pasta

so here's what's for dinner today... the leftover pasta from lunch!
now this is the pasta for those who don't like to simmer a pot of sauce for a whole day to heat up the house. it's rather simple - olive oil, crushed red peppers, half an onion, cloves of garlic, tomatoes (i used a combination of yellow heirloom and red tomatoes - plump and fresh from the sunday's farmer's market), half a gigantic yellow bell pepper, white wine (leftover viognier), a pound of shrimp, a pound of whole wheat thin spaghetti and a big handful of freshly picked basil (from my little vegetable garden but of course).
