It's a grilling day
My friend Teresa and her family visited me today for lunch - we make it a point to see each other every time her husband is here to visit. Knowing it's pretty darn hot I decided to cook all the dishes outside thanks to our grill. We had salmon grilled on cedar, pasta with shrimp and grilled veggies. Of course we had cupcakes for dessert! Papa Jerry is still his same Yoda self while Teresa's still as fun as ever. Their daughter Ivanka was barely in preschool when we first became friends... and Sab... she wasn't even in high school yet.. look at her now!!! Did she outshine the cupcake or what! My honorary sister Roan was also there to give a helping hand (and provide entertaining stories as well). Oh what fun!
